| I purchased the jacket about a month or two ago and figured i'd give it a while before i review. I must say that this jacket is awesome. I live in Tucson, AZ and in the morning, when i leave for work before the sun rises, its cold. There was a couple mornings this winter that were 28 degrees. but this jacket performed amazing. i shut the vents in the morning when its cold and open them when i leave work in the afternoon. The jacket is simply a great all around jacket. I wear it everyday because i ride everyday. i ride in all conditions. this jacket is nice. measure yourself and follow the chart. as long as your stomach is not bigger than your chest the chart will work for you. however, if your gut sticks out past your chest then you may want to order a size up. I'm 6' even 170lbs and 38" around the chest. and a medium fits perfect. |

| Great jacket. It was my second choice of jackets but turns out to be a pretty good second choice. The leather is top notch, and the fit is great. The vents make it a year round option when taking any ride. I pulled the armor plates for every day riding, but will put them back in when I go for a long ride. |

| So I got the jacket in the mail but it was too big, even though I DID use the chart. My buddy was so impressed with it, and it fits him perfectly, so he bought it from me. I just bought a second jacket and for saving on the shipping cost I'll force myself to wait another week for it to get here. It felt really comfortable for riding, and looks great. |

| Feels like it weighs about 100 pounds, but my friends tell me that all leather jackets feel like they are lead-lined. This thing is definitely windproof and warm, though. On cold, windy days on the bike, this is jacket well worth the extra weight. It is well made, except for the sticky zippers. And the pockets are plentiful and roomy. If I lost it, I'd buy another one just like it. |

| I gave this a 4 star rating for a pretty simple reason. The leather is superb, the warmth and sizing are great. The liner is warm, etc. So why didn't it get a full 5 stars? The buttons for the liner snapped off less than a week after I started wearing it, which allows the liner to move around and pinch on the underarm or overarm. I would buy this jacket again, but I would most likely get rid of the really poor liner buttons and replace them with better ones.
The vents are great for warm weather riding, and the jacket is plenty warm for cooler riding too. |

| Great jacket for the money, well constructed, and very sharp looking. This is a really heavy jacket, so it should provide good protection. The armor is a little stiff, I'm hoping it will soften up with wear. I was torn on what size I should order, as I usually fall between a medium and a large. I went with the large, and it fits pretty well. I'm 6', 175, 40 chest, and the length is good, a little baggy in the chest/stomach area, but it leaves room for a heavy shirt underneath. |

| Bought this for my husband for Christmas, and I was very impressed when it arrived!
The leather is tough but very soft, there were a lot of quality details, like the inside and outside pockets and vents that zipped up, the armor and the zip out quilted liner (easier for me to clean as opposed to trying to get the leather dry cleaned), I just slip the liner into the hand washing along with my delicates.
As for sizing, the largest size a 5x fit my husbands tummy which is about 57 inches around. But it also has an attached belt to snug in for when he looses weight.
It is a very attractive and comfortable jacket, and he loves it. Its perfect for riding around in the South in winter time, and I am happy knowing that he is as protected as I am (I got the textile womens Cleo by Joe Rocket) when we are riding our bikes.
Very high quality for an insanely low price. The best on the Internet. |

| Wow! This jacket is heavy duty! I wear a 46 coat, but ordered one size up to 2XL. Fits perfect. Very comfortable. At $120 it's a steal! Has kept me quite warm riding behind a windshield in low 30's and with the liner in. Could probably go into the mid - high 20's. This is my first leather riding jacket and I could not be happier with it. |

| Well I wrote a review the day I received this jacket but now that I have had it for a month I think it deserves a new review. The sizing was way off for me. I wear a 3X or a 2X but I have never ever worn anything bigger than a 3X. I initially ordered a 4X following the suggestions of other reviews here but that did not even come close to fitting so I exchanged it for a 5X. The exchange process was very smooth and went off without a hitch.
Now for the jacket. It is awesome!!! The leather is thick and soft, and now that I have worn it for a while it fits great and as I wear it the leather is softening and fitting to my body and it us one of the most comfortable coats I have ever worn. The quality is excellent. This is a fantastic coat and worth three times what it costs here. |

| I do not like to order cloathing on line, it's always send it back and try again. I read the reviews and the majority of them said to order a size up. Thanks for the information reviewers! Perfict fit. I am 6' 2' and 225lbs. The XXL is perfect. I always have trouble with coats and jackets being to short in the arms, not this one. It is roomy enough to move around in and I have no belly so the adjustible velcro side straps are great. Heavy leather and with level 3 protection, this jacket is well put togeather. I almost want to lay my HD down and take a tumble on the black top! Not really, but if I do I have great protection. Kudos to Xelement for a great product and Kudos to Leather up for the great price. |

| This is my first Jacket and im glad i bought this one!!! Its august and its 80 degrees here in minnesota and the vents on the jacket work great. Its really cool and there is plenty of ventilation. It is a heavy jacket that definitely protects you and keeps you comfortable. And even though there is padding on the shoulders and elbows the jacket is very loose and easy to move around in. I am 6 foot and 160 lbs and a medium worked fine for me. Recommend for cruiser and sports bike riders, this jacket looks and feels like a million bucks. |

| I really like this jacket. It's very comfortable leather and really heavy duty. The only issue I have with it is that even with all of the vents open and the liner taken out, this jacket can get really hot. It doesn't fit in my saddle bags so if it's cold in the morning but hot in the afternoon it is not totally ideal. For the most part, it's a great jacket. |

Love the zip in option on the back for attaching to the pants. I would go up a size, that worked well for me. I also like that the armor isn't "football padding" type. It is really sleek and almost hidden. So it has a much more classic feel than pother jackets out there. |

| When I first took this coat out of the box I though that maybe they had packed some additional materials inside the jacket. This is one heavy sucker! The workmanship and quality are completely awesome. I've seen coats up to the $500 range that aren't near the quality of this jacket. The vents works very well in the TX humidity so I don't have any reservations about wearing this jacket year round. I'm not just happy with this purchase, I'm ecstatic! |

The fit was great and I really like all the features of it, like the zippered vents, adjustable velcro straps and the removable armor. Plus my wife thinks it looks great on me. | Very nice jacket for the price- the leather is soft, it has all metal YKK zippers and armor, lots of nice features for the price. Heavy!
My only big gripe is the mesh liner and armor pockets- the mesh is very coarse, it feels like they could have used something a little softer. Also, the velcro tabs on the elbow armor pockets have a tendency to stab you in the arm. A small cloth flap over these would go a long way toward comfort.
I'll add a note about the sizing here for anyone else in my situation. I'm a big guy, 6'-4" and 275 lbs. I've tried on other brands of jackets and the sleeves on the 2XL's are usually too short, so I ordered a 3XL in this jacket. Glad I did, because the 3XL actually fits just right. The sleeves are the right length for me and overall the jacket fits very nice, although a little more length in the torso would be nice, it sure seems short for a 3XL sized jacket as it just comes to my waist (my other jacket, a Fieldsheer, in 3XL is much longer than this one, though it's almost a little too long). Just something to keep in mind! |

I found the fit to be correct by one size up to the normal size you wear. Great look and fit otherwise. I did have to pull the armor out of the sleeves otherwise my arms would not fit. Minor downsides: inside of sleeves are a little scratchy, and the sizing is a wee bit on the small size. Typically an XL will be almost too big for me. This XL is almost too small around my beer gut. |

| The jacket arrived in just over a week from the time I placed the order. The size was perfect and the jacket was packaged well. All the buttons and zippers worked as new and there's no wind leakage while riding at any of the zippers when closed. The elbow pads get some getting used to if your not used to wearing pads, but they button in and out so you can remove them easily. The leather is really nice, no blemishes. I really like the velcro side adjustments, significantly easier to use than the belt buckles and provides for a more personalized fit. My only grudge is that the wrists don't sinch down like the waist. The wrists have a zipper but when riding in the cold you will need gloves that cover the outside of the wrists or some that can pack into the inside of the wrists to keep the wind out. Great value! I would buy from LeatherUp again! |

| I gave this jacket to my husband for Christmas. The quality and the weight of the leather is 5 stars! I ordered him a size up (an XL), and it's a great fit. He has an athletic build so he appreciated the adjustable waist straps. We live in Michigan, so he will have to wait a few months to be able to take it on the road, but the removable lining and ample vents are nice features for our wide range of temperatures. |

| This jacket is even better than I expected. It is a very high quality jacket that is very warm in cold weather. The zip out liner gives you that extra warmth on those cold days. I highly recommend this item! |

| I really needed a leather riding jacket that came with protection for fall, winter and early spring, but I also needed it to be a bargain. This looked like a bargain, but I had my misgivings based on price. When it arrived, I was really surprised and impressed with the quality of it! Heavy, thick leather with a big heavy duty zipper. A zip-out liner. Vents that are easy to open and even a cell phone pocket! Yup, it was a bargain alright. I really couldn't be happier. |

| I almost never write reviews in fact I have bought six items from leather up . com and this is my first review. Every item I have bought has been perfecct. As a mater of fact after buying 2 jackets 2 chaps a pair of boaats I ordeed this jacket for a friend and follow rider of mine he loves it. But take the advise that I did and order one size up.
