| They weren't what I was looking for. I have a narrow heel and and ankle and the boots seemed a little bit larger than what I'm used too. The strap at the top and over the ankle is really not functional and they didn't help to tighten up the boot so I returned them for a refund and purchased lace up boots. The quality of the boot for the price was good just not my style or fit. |

| Great boot for the price, and very comfortable. Put a soft insole in to make them fit more snug. Size was right on. Have bought several items now including jackets, chaps, touring bag and gloves and I'm extremely pleased with everything ! Good job again Leatherup !

| I'm very impressed. Delivery was speedy and accurate (unlike some other sites I've dealt with recently). Comfort is quite reaosnable for someone who previously wore tennis shoes or sandals. Could you use one more hole on the top strap, but that is easily fixed. Thanks! I'll definitely be back for more product from this vendor. |

| This boot is an excellent value. It is well designed and constructed of top quality materials. It looks like it will last forever. It is generously sized and very comfortable. I put a soft insole in mine to take up a little extra room and to make the insole smooth and soft. The result is a boot that I can wear with heavy sox for a snug fit. It is comfortable when walking as well as riding. This one is a winner! |

| I love the look and feel of these boots--sturdy, without looking too rugged (the soles are not lugged so you can actually wear them to a restaurant or even to work). I was worried about the sizing as some reviewers say they're exact and some say they run big. I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 depending on the shoe but 9 was out of stock so I ordered 8 1/2 and the size is dead on. There is more vertical room (above my toes) than I'm used to with a standard shoe but this is remedied by an insole which snugs things up. Order with confidence if you like this style--you won't be disappointed. |

| I ordered 12EE because I wear a 12 wide in my Ariat cowboy boots-the engineers are a little snug but think as they wear they will loosen up. Seems to be a good value for the money.
My biggest problem w/ the order was FEDEX ground...I orderd on Sunday, I got conformation from Leather-up that my boots were to be shipped on Monday-FEDEX didn't pick them up for 2 days! When all was said and done it took my boots 8 days to get here...a little disappointing after hearing other reviews saying how fast stuff normally arrived. If you need something right away, you might want to plan accordingly. |

thought I would wear them again. Over the years I've worn Wellingtons and lace riding boots. I bought
these hoping for the best. They are an excellent boot. The workmanship is fine and the fit is very

| Very high quality boot for the price. Albeit this, they run LOOSE...read on. I usually wear a 10.5 wide, sometimes 11 regular to wide. I got the 10.5 (regular I assume) and I was swimming in them. First, I had to make an extra hole on the ankle straps to tighten up. I suggest keeping the calf strap loose so you can get in and out of them easily, and with less wear on the leather (but these sons-a-guns are heavy duty...craftsman wise and literally). Next, I bought some gel insoles to stack on-top of the stock insoles. That provided a more filling feeling, yes, but elevating my foot too much and made my heel slip when walking. The stock insole IS removable however (which is a rare quality in this price range) - so I might just take the gels and the stock insoles out and buy one 'tall' arch support insole to make a good snug fit. Understand, with these types of boots (engineer / harness / executioner) you have to kinda 'tailor' them to your feet. But once you do, you're golden for YEARS in them. It's worth it, especially considering you're getting a boot for more than half off Xelement's normal $160 price, even after shipping. On shipping....FAST! Thanks leatherup - I'll be back... |

| I had been looking for engineer boots for quite some time, and although there are many different styles and options on the market I wasn't sold until I found these boots listed on Leatherup! I did have to exchange them for a half size bigger and the fit was almost perfect. I added a soft insert and they fit even more comfortably. Being a slim guy I wasn't sure if I would like the loose calf on them but the foot is nice and snug in the boot. They move a little up the top but it doesn't feel like you could kick it off your foot. That is the style of the boot to be loose at the top. The leather is high quality and they look really sharp. 100% satisfaction and a price you can't beat for the quality you receive. They could easily charge double for the boots and it wouldn't be ridiculous for the quality you get. I will be ordering again and again for all my leather/biking needs. |

| Just got these boots about three hours ago. I've been wearing them since I opened the box to try to break them in. I'm very hard to fit in a boot. Some boots this tall I can't even get my foot in. (Even when they are the correct size). I also have a large calf. The adjustment at the top of these boots make for easy on and off and they aren't too tight at the calf. I wear a 10 1/2 wide so I ordered the 10 1/2 EE and they are perfect. By the way. These boots already feel great so breaking in really isn't necessary. Thanks LeatherUp for all the great products. | I've purchased many boots and found that "inexpensive" does not always mean a sub-standard product. This is, in fact, one of those purchases. Well built, comfortable and stitching is top quality. The leather is thick and should provide many years of wear. I purchased from LeatherUp.com mainly due to other riding jackets that were also purchased from this vendor which always provided the same quality and excllent pricing. There are other boots available by other vendors, but don't be led astray by price, read the past reviews and decide whether you want to spend a greater amount of money on a pair of boots that would be hard pressed to meet the quality and price of this boot. |

| These are good boots for the price, I wanted a shorter boot than my 17" Chippewas and didn't want to spend the high price of them. The first time I wore them, I had to make a 60 mile parts run in 38° rainy weather and my feet stayed warm and dry. The only beef I have is that the finish around the top is kind of rough and chafes your leg when your socks fall down, but I'm sure that will wear in okay. If you're looking for a good pair of boots and don't want to spend $200, get these. |

| Don't even bother with any other brand. Xelement boots are amazing. The leather is full grain, thick and oil tanned. Great protection. It feels great from the first time you wear them. Also the insole is removable which I have only seen on VERY high end boots over $120. Most other boots glue them in, which is cheaper and less comfort over time. Plus you can replace these with gel or same ones when they wear out. Leatherup.com must be giving these Xelement boots away at these prices. I'm picking up the harness boot also. |
