| I waited until I've owned these boots for about six months before reviewing them. I can say that these boots were an excellent purchase and are as good as anything out there. I've literally worn these boots every day since I bought them. No kidding. I put them on in the morning and they don't come off of my feet again until evening when I go to bed. They are well-made, comfortable and seem to be indestructible. The only time they've come off my feet is when I put my running shoes on to go running and I think I wore a pair of dress shoes at a wedding. Otherwise, they're on my feet. In that time, with a lot of serious biking and just plain old daily commuting, the boots hold up, are warm in the cold and cool in the hot. Literally, I've never lived in a pair of boots or shoes before I had these. I also use them on my nearly daily bike rides where I put a lot of force between them and the pedal. I think I'll probably get at least another year or so or more out of these and they can probably be resoled. I tend to pronate, so the outer heels are showing wear, as with all my shoes, but it's really not so bad at all. I usually wear shoes out really fast because someone who pronates wears soles out so unevenly, but these babies are holding up. This is probably the least expensive pair of high quality boots you can buy. They're less than half the price of, say, Frye, but of course, Fryes (along with Chippewa) are the Harleys of boots. Nice if you can afford them, but you can do as well for less. These Xelements are great boots and a great value. |

| Before I start the review let me thank all the people who wrote the earlier reviews. They were very helpful in answering some of my questions, particularly which size to order. My two questions were the right size and which is the right sole type, flat or lugged. I normally wear a 10 1/2D and the 10 1/2's are a perfect fit to length and width. The body of the shoe is large, even with my high arches, and a double thick cloth sole insert works perfectly to make the fit snug without being tight. The lug soles make the boots a little heavier, but not noticeably so and not as heavy as a standard Vibram sole, and the lugs are composed of softer rubber that makes walking very comfortable. The soft lugs give great traction in mud and snow as well as cushion the foot while walking and standing. I have owned the boots for 1 month. I put them on the day they arrived and wore them for 10 hours, and every day since, without and pain or problems. As for the quality I have compared these boots to many costing 3 times as much and the quality is just as good. The finish is great without a blemish. I also like the orange colored safety sole.
Delivery was very quick only 4 days after I placed my order. I am very happy with these boots and plan on buying a second pair of Xelement boots. |

| I think the boots are great. However, when I received these boots, they were a bit narrow. Due to the size chart not working and no wide sizes offered, I wouldn't get these if you have wide feet. I am trying very hard to break mine in, wearing them when I can before riding season comes. Hopefully they will stretch out enough to where they fit comfortablly. I've been looking for these types of boots and found this great deal and the quality is great! Just double check your size before purchase otherwise you can't beat the price and quality!!!!!!! |

I have a wide foot, and probably should have ordered the next 1/2 size bigger, as these are medium width and I normally buy a wide width. After wearing them for a couple of hours a day though, they are breaking in, and will be fine. These boots will be an excellent riding boot. |

| I' had been looking for a short motorcycle boot for about 2 years in our local stores to no avail. An out of town Georgia Boot vendor advised me he could get a pair for about $120 dollars. Thought that was a little more than I wanted to pay. When searching the internet, I found your site, the harness boot jumped out at me. This was the boot I was looking for. I was sold by the great reviews of this boot. I was not disappointed when I received them 3 days later. I must say that I was skeptical of a good fit due to having a fat wide foot, big ankles that swell during the day Due to my 6', 230 lbs. body. The reviewers mentioned that the boots were cut a little large, and that is a good thing for me. They are an little tight across the bridge of my ankle which will be remedied after the leather stretches. With thin boot socks on this boot is the most comfortable boot I've ever owned . I've noticed my feet don't get as tired as they do with my Timberland's. They fit like a glove and I already can remove them at night using only my toes I can't wait to get them all dirtied up and polished a few times. This definitely has been a good experience for me. | The boots are very comfortable, but only after breaking them in. The heel is especially hard and I developed some really bad blisters on both feet in the first few hours of wearing them. I have a pretty wide foot and was disappointed that these did not come in a wide size. I decided to go for them anyway. At first, my foot felt very cramped in the toes. After about a week of wearing them, they broke in and are now very comfortable. My toes don't feel so cramped and the hard back doesn't bother me. I should note that these boots run AT LEAST a size big. I usually wear a size 10-10.5. I ordered a size 10 and had to exchange them for a size 9. |

| Great buy. I ordered these boots about 3 weeks ago and I wear them every day. I'm a biker and truck driver and I really beat on these boots. At the end of the day my feet are not sore. I also weigh 270 pounds and have had no back aches while walking. My old boots (very similar to these - no lug sole) were tearing my feet apart. I also paid $180 for my old boots. Great quality leather. I was caught in a heavy down pour and not a single drop of water penetrated the leather. It took me about 1 day to break them in. |

| For the money, there's no way you can beat these boots. Construction and coloring and overall comfort seem top notch. However... I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe, and I read that these ran a bit large. So I ordered size 8, and they were too big still. That's the smallest size. I sent them back only because of that. |

| Very nice boot overallbut mine happen to be to small. I am in the military and normally have to wear a wide size in my 'jungle style' boots. If you have ever had to purchase a wide pair of shoes or boots then i would recomend choosing the 'classic' style mototrcycle boot on this website. Overall the look and construction is very nice, however the heel on these was about 1.5 inches! |

Riding with them is very nice, I found that the boots I replaced with these gave me trouble when shifting, but these boot fit me and my bike nicely. If you are looking for a good boot at a great price give them a try. The sizing chart was pretty good, seemed to be right no for me. |

| These boots are AWESOME!!! They look cool and are very comfortable. They are a little loose but I put insoles inside and fixed it right up other than that size is perfect. Can't wait to start riding with them. I will definitely buy from leatherup again. You can't beat their prices and quality. |

| This is my second pair of Xelement boots. Same great fit I have with my other pair . Took a few days to get comfortable. My only criticism is that like my other pair of xelement boots they are heavy but very well made. I really like the lug soles I have on both pair of boots. Really give me a good grip on the road when stopped at a light. You can't go wrong with these boots. You will not beat the price! |

| This a very good boot for the price. Very comfortable fit. But I'm glad that I got the short instead of the tall. The opening is a little narrow. I would diffinitely would buy from LeatherUp again. |

| These boots are pretty cool. I usually just wear work boots but I liked the look of these. Sizing is pretty accurate. They fit well and look pretty good. For the price, they're not bad. They'll make you a couple inches taller. I hope they hold up better then my last pair of Harley boots. |
