I don't usually write a review about any items I purchase since I feel they are more subjective than anything. But I feel like these boots deserve a good rating since they are comfortable to wear and do not take a toll on your wallet. I would suggest anyone thinking of purchasing these boots to give them a try. Also, like everyone else said, they do run a size smaller so order one size bigger.

Excellent boots, the only thing that could make them better would be to have them in wide sizes

Great shoes, and everyone at my motorcycle class wanted to know where I got them because they look really cool. The velcro is sturdy and tight. The grip patch on the toe is great for shifting. When I walk it pressed into my foot a bit, but no problems while riding. I put in some SuperFeet insoles because the soles in these are pretty much cardboard, and then they were awesome! Considering you can rarely find sneakers for $40 nowadays, these shoes are fantastic for the price.

These boots were a steal, for the price. They're small enough to pass off as regular shoes. They do run a bit small, so although I'm an 8.5-9.0, I had to return the 9's and get a 9.5. Great service from the company during the exchange.

I bought the boots because they appeared to be light and easy to walk in because of the relatively flat sole and heel. They meet these requirements very well. I do not think they would offer as much protection as some of the heavier and higher boots but I am pleased with them for the casual cruising use I bought them for and are certainly a safer alternative than wearing sneakers while riding. They work very well on floorboards.

Very impressed. Wear an 11, boughta 12 for a perfect fit. Feel heavy and solid to the touch but very pliable and comfortable on the feet. Not only good for the price but good at at twice the price.

Extremely comfortable right out of the box. Just a little tight across the toes, but I normally wear a EE width shoe. Great value for the price.

Not the best boot ive ever worn but for the price its a fair buy, the sticking on the tongue at the base seems to be rather weak but overall a comfotable boot

After reading a few reviews I went ahead and ordered a pair one size up from my usual nine (10). The shoes fit perfect and are very light on my feet. I hate wearing boots and trying to get my foot into one of them, nevermind lasing up. So you know I love the easy access of the velcro strap. These seemed like a perfect alternative. They don't offer much cushing for long periods of walking but when your riding all the cushing you need is in your seat. They look like a pair of sneakers when worn and the price was great.

I purchased these about a year ago, and have put no less that 1500 miles on them participating in poker runs, rallies and weekend rides. These are a comfortable all day shoe and I was suprised at the overall comfort. They are good in warm weather and not to bad in the cold with a pair of thick socks. My only would be that the velcro closure needs a little more room to lay over and close good when for those like myslef with a big foot. I have purchased several items from Leatherup, and they are my first source for clothing, helmets and gloves. OL-n-GRAYII,

Very satisfied with the boots. You really need to buy 1 full size larger than you normally wear. I bought a half size larger and it is a little snug with thick socks. I wear it with thinner socks and it is great.

I just received my boots and they are soooooo great! I was apprehensive about ordering a size larger. I did so after reading the other reviews...they were right! YOU NEED TO ORDER 1 SIZE LARGER! they fit perfectly! And the mesh on the top is a fantastic gripper when going up in gear. Easy to put on and much lighter than the bulky leather alternatives! A must buy!

These are great boots. Lite weight and comfortable. Order at least a half size larger for a good fit. They are very nice looking and you can go from bike to church and no one will notice you're wearing motorcycle boots! They give pretty good traction when stopped on an oily spot too. I highly recommend these boots especially for weekend riders. Gary P. from Athens, West Virginia.

These boots are good looking, light and comfortable enough to wear all day, on or off the bike. The velcro closers allow varied adjustments. The textured rubber inserts over the toes provide positive non-slip shifting. The boots run small, so its necessary to order a full size larger.

The price was right. The fit, and walking initially I thought was going to be iffy, until I wore them a few times. Now I can't believe just how comfortable they are. I'd recommend them and buy them again!

These boots look and feel great. They are so light it almost feels like I'm bare foot. Uncomfortable to walk in them for any period of time, but they feel awesome while on the bike, even after a couple hours of riding. The material is thick enough that it should protect well against impacts with debris and against abrasions should the unthinkable happen. Does not have the solid shields like you see on the taller and more expensive race boots, but thats not what these are. The sole seems to grip the ground firmly except when there is loose gravel or lots of small pebbles concentrated in an area. The tread is not deep like a tennis shoe or other boots, so the sole rest on the gravel or pebbles and your foot will slip. Surprised me the first time it happened, which was at the end of my paved driveway when I was walking my bike out of the garage. I haven't used them on a wet surface yet and I don't ride in the rain if I can help it so the only negative aspect I can see is the thin tread depth. These boots are well worth the money.

I bought my father-in-law a pair of these for his birthday and he simply loved them. So I ordered myself a pair and I am very pleased. They feel great right out of the box. Very light and comfortable for those long rides! As I write this review I am ordering a pair for my wife.

I love the boots. They are extremely comfortable and lightweight. My order was processed very quickly as well. It would be nice if they were available in a "wide" size though so make sure you consider ordering one sixe larger than normal.

Not a bad boot for the money. Other reviewers stated that the boot runs small and that you should order a size larger. I did not find this to be true. The boot is a little wide. I wear a 10 1/2 -11 D shoe. I ordered a 12 and it was way to large .I exchanged it for an 11 and found it fit OK but I did need to wear two socks to take up the extra width.

These are a quality boot and reasonably priced. I ordered these one size larger than I usually wear and they are extremely comfortable both on and off the bike. The features are numerous, from the comfort and odor absorbsent lining, to the velcro closure that makes them easy to take on and off and the shipping is always timely. Thanks for another fine product.

GREAT VALUE! Glad I ordered 1 size larger, VERY light & comfortable in both "Harley" & forward riding positions. Definitely not a winter boot but feels good 40 deg F & up. Nice to walk around in when you get there too! No laces, just velcro.

I've had these boots for a couple weeks now and I'd say they're worth 5 stars based on price. When I received them I was somewhat displeased with how the boot felt on my hands. They felt stiff and brittle to the touch... but with time I came to like these. The grips on the bottom are nice and sticky. Great bargain for a nice, simple motorcycle boot.

Outstanding riding shoes!! These replace a pair of black cross-trainers that were formerly my warmer weather riding footwear. Since those weren't really designed for motorcycles the shift lever beat up the top of the left shoe badly over time. These are light, comfortable to walk in, have no laces to get caught in foot levers, have heavy-duty stitching and ample toe pads. And, they're very reasonably priced. They seem to run a little small on your normal shoe size, so go a size up, then you can accommodate thicker socks if need be . Hard to go wrong with these, folks

I really took a gamble ordering this boot. At the time of purchase, I had never ridden a motorcycle and didn't know any better. However, the Motorcycle Training Course I was attending required boots and $35 just seemed too good of a deal. After trying them on I was very satisfied. I wear a size 11 but ordered the other reviewers recommended "one size up". The 12 fits like a glove! Very comfortable and stylish. My instructor was very impressed with them as well. He commented that they must have set me back $120 and was very shocked when I told him the deal I got. Also, while riding my feet were very comfy. I like the shift pads. I rode for 10 hours in them and they still look brand new! Highly recommended!

LeatherUp only had two sizes when I ordered -- 8 and 9. I normally wear a size 8 1/2 shoe so ordered the size 9. They are a little tight but seem to be loosening up the more I wear them. I would order a size 10 the next time.

Even though I ordered a bigger size than what I normally wear shoe was still a tad tight when I first wore it. After wearing it for a day doiing my daily errands it was rather comfortable. Shoe is light, low priced, and looks rather good. Soles are rather thin. Really is just made to walk around in and for riding.

These are the first pair of motorcycle boots I have ever owned, so, I really don't have anything to compare these to. However, I can tell you a few things about these boots. They were a little tight around the ankles the first time I wore them but became more comfortable after a couple more wears. Now, after wearing them several times, they are extremely comfortable. I normally wear a size 12- 13 in normal everyday shoes and I ordered a 13 in these and am happy I did. So, order a size larger than you normally wear and you should be about right. Easy and quick to get on and off thanks to the velcro closures. The toe pads are nice to prevent wear on your boots from rubbing gear shift and foot brake. The vents are nice to keep your feet from sweating although I was concerned if my feet would stay dry in the rain and they did. This is an awesome boot at a steal of a price. As I said before, I can't compare these to other boots and it looks I never will unless they discontinue these, because I will buy them again when my current ones wear out. Also, LeatherUp was a pleasure to do business with and no problems. Thanks

I've worn these exactly twice so it's too early for a comprehensive review, but based on my brief ownership experience, here are my observations: Pros Inexpensive Easy on/off with the Velcro fastener Light weight Protection for the ankle Fairly comfortable Cons Thin non-breathable material used on outer sole No padding or protection for the foot other than the ankle area Offered in medium widths only I'll do my best to follow-up with more details after I've owned these a while. In general, you get what you pay for and these would be no bargain at the list price, but at the sale price (under $50 including shipping), no too bad a deal.
