| First off, let me tell you that reading the reviews is a smart idea. I bought these only after reading a lot of positive reviews, and I have to say, these chaps are great. Well worth more than I paid for them. Excellent quality, and I did buy them one size up from my normal size. I have been wearing them for two weeks in late November, in northern New Mexico, and they are exactly what I wanted.
A big plus is the service. These chaps were ordered on a Monday and at my house on Wednesday. I can strongly recommend Leatherup.com as a purveyor of qualitiy goods with quality service. |

| Excellent quality for the price. All of the other reviews were dead on with the sizing suggestions. I ordered a 36, same as pant size and they fit great. They are a little tight in the thighs but that's largely due to my running and ruck marching in the military. FYI - if you are a new rider, you want the chaps tight so that they don't ride up in an accident. That's where your protection is. These look and feel great and really cut the wind. I will by them again when these wear out. Judging from the quality that should be quite a while from now. |

| I ordered the same size as jeans and they fit perfectly. I am 6' and 195lbs. and wear a 36. The length is perfect for wear with boots. I am very happy with the purchase and will definately order more leather from Leatherup. The quality is very good and the shipping very fast from Cal. I also ordered a vest that is excellent and ordered a jacket, but have not received it yet. It is shipping from Kentucky and although I ordered it at the same time, it is taking much longer to receive. |

| I ordered these for a friend, he was very happy. The leather is heavy and soft. The fit was dead on and the quality is outstanding. We left the length a little to long to hang down over his boots, to seal of air. Be careful not to measure the cut standing up, you don`t ride standing up. In the shops we have been in these chaps cost twice as much or more.

| Second pair of chaps that I've bought from Leather Up. Both pairs are very comfortable. It never gets too cold here in sunny Florida, but on the days when it has dropped down into the 30s and 40s, the chaps kept the wind out, and they kept my legs relatively warm. I recommend 2 things: make a dual-pronged buckle to prevent the single prong from slipping away from the bar and the chaps from falling off of the rider/walker. Second, please a find a way to prevent the zipper from riding up and coming undone during rides. I ride a H-D Fatboy and with both pairs of chaps that I've bought, there have been problems with the wind causing the zipper to ride up (even with the covered zipper on this pair). |

| These chaps are great. I was worried about the zipper in the back of the leg causing damage to my seat or other chairs but it's well made and doesn't effect anything at all. They fit perfect. I'm 5-10 at 175lbs and I followed the chart with no issues. The elastic on the leg along with the zipper on the back allow for comfortable expansion.
I recommend these to everyone looking for a durable set o chaps that have a stylish braided design. The pocket could be just a bit larger for keys but I they are still great chaps.

| I was very satisfied with the chaps. I wear a 35 waist, and ordered a 36" waist, and it is just right. With the zipper in the thighs, I have the option to go a little bigger if I need to, but so far, I have not had to unzip the thighs zipper. I clipped about 2" off of the bottom, and the length was good to go. I wore them for the first time, on a fun run, and they were very comfortable. The leather is soft, and feels good over my jeans. I hit a few bugs on the ride, and got some on the chaps, but wiped right off with a damp cloth. I would recommend these chaps to everyone. |

I found their sizing guide to be accurate. Be sure to measure around the middle of your thigh, and order accordingly, or you'll end up with chaps that are too tight and uncomfortable. |

| Do yourself a favor and measure your thigh and go by the thigh size on the size chart. I ordered based on my normal waiste size and had to return the goods. Customer Service and Shipping did a great job on the turnaround time - excellent! I have worn my chaps at 38 degrees and they were great. A lot less bulky then my snow pants. A little wind protection may be needed under them to cover the crotch area in temps closer or below freezing.

As far as the Product goes? I give Xelement an AAAAAAA Rating as well. These Chaps are very good quality and they fit like a glove. I myself never have liked wearing Chaps, but after wearing these; I wish I would of been smarter and got some a long time ago and just maybe I my legs wouldn't of always froze while we were Riding.. Hahaha

I would go up one size what ever your paint size is say 38 go with a 40. just a little tight in the thigh area. | This was one of three pieces comprising my first purchase from Leather Up! and they were not what I expected. Since I had been shopping around and looking at prices, I figured that for this price I'd get some fairly thin leather and maybe some less-than-durable details, but boy was I wrong! The leather is thick and durable (like the jacket I got from Leather Up!) and the zippers are large and metal as are the snaps. They're really nice and substantial feeling. I might have gotten away with a size smaller, but in actuality, I'm right in between. These, however, offer enough ways to tighten up the waist that they fit quite well. Great product. Needless to say, I'm a very happy customer. |

| I have to admit, I was very skeptical about purchasing leather chaps sight unseen over the internet, but after reading all of the other reviews, I decided to take a chance and I'm very glad I did. Originally, I bought a pair of women's for myself and the man's for my fiance', but since I have a weird shape, they didn't fit me like I'd wished so I exchanged them after trying on my man's pair. I returned the woman's and ordered the men's chaps for myself as they just fit me better, but again, I have a weird shape. Excellent quality leather, fit and finish. I was able to return the women's pair that I purchased without hassle and the replacement went extremely smooth. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from LeatherUp again and highly recommend them. No need to be skeptical about them. Customer service is excellent as well. I wished I had found them before I went and bought our boots from the Harley dealership. When my boots wear out, I will be coming back to LeatherUp for all of my gear.

| This is the first set of chaps I have ever bought. I checked around in the local stores and even the discount leather stores and couldn't find anything for under $160. I took a chance on these and was overwhelmingly surprised. Great quality leather, good lining and sturdy hardware (zippers and snaps). | Gret Chaps for the $$$$,BUT that left Room($$) to Order alot more Gear from LeatherUp,,,lol,,,Sizeing is off by bout an inch or two on me,,but i am a Large Fellow,,will have them taken in after the Wife gets hers back. Merlin, Middle of Oklahoma. |

| Good value. Nice fit (I like the thigh elastic for comfort riding and walking. The thigh zippers are nice when putting them on to make it easier to clasp the main zippers. Easily cut to length with utility scissors. |

| These chaps are a real bargain for the price. I bought two pair one as a gift and one for myself. I ordered a size larger and the fit is great. Looking forward to using these chaps a lot this spring and fall. I would highly recommend Leather up for purchasing leather accesories. |
